The Great Mango Blog
Welcome to my world of mangoes. Yes, you did read that correctly. This is a passion I share with probably billions of others. I have loved mangoes ever since I can remember my first taste of them. A box of Alphonsos delivered to us all those years ago, were a real treat, and still are. These were not what you buy in your local supermarket. These were freighted from India, the best, juiciest, tastiest mangoes in the world. I was hooked from my very first taste and come May each year, I start seeking out the best. This is a blog about my passion for this fruit. I will be including ‘taste-offs’, recipes, mango adventures, intellectual debate around mangoes, mangodotes (mango-anecdotes) and much more. So, if you share the same passion, have a mild curiosity or would like to learn more, watch this space.
This blog was thought up whilst learning about social media and i realised that the big blog shaped gap that has been in my life recently needed filling. Some of my friends were already bloggers and had wedding blogs, travel blogs etc. I have decided to go with my passion for mangoes. I hope to entertain people, be entertained, learn things I never knew before about mangoes and generally have fun talking the mango talk and walking the mango walk.
Looking forward to this! Good to see the site up so quickly

Thanks Michael. Had a bit of an unproductive day searching for mangoes. Got to the shops a bit late and the best had been taken. Will try again Tuesday after the bank holiday.

An interesting topic I think.
Be interesting (repetition :/) to see into which annals this kinda of investigation will take you!
Maybe you can topple the government. One mango at a time.
I feel the “Mango revolution” would be a darn good name for an overthrow.
